Young Toddler Program (12 months – 20 months)

Program Description: The Toddler Program provides a safe, loving and nurturing environment to allow for increased mobility, the urge to test and experiment, and to be assertive and independent. Our program encourages children to use their bodies, their senses and their emerging problem-solving skills to make sense of the world around them. Through age-appropriate experiences, engaging classroom spaces and responsive teacher-child relationships, it promotes your child’s cognitive, emotional and physical development. The children have opportunity to use their muscles and body for crawling, climbing, jumping, dancing and playing games. This improves coordination and stimulates connections to the brain. Our classrooms provide a quiet and cozy place where children can relax and feel safe. The children enjoy special time outdoors in their fenced playground that provides a safe space for them to explore.

Pre-School Program (2 ½ - 3 ½ years)

Program Description: The pre-school program provides an environment where children are valued as individuals. The classroom is comfortable and open for discovery. The teacher creates a schedule to include transition time, group time, and free choice play. The classroom expectations include encouraging the children to develop their language abilities through books, games, print and song. Math and cognitive development is encouraged by offering stimulating activities, time to explore and materials to manipulate. Problem solving skills are emerging and encouraged throughout the day. The teacher recognizes each child has different strengths and weaknesses and creates a plan that offers opportunities for enhancement. The daily schedule includes outdoor fun and exercise.

Kindergarten-Readiness Program (3 ½ - 5 years old)

Program Description: The kindergarten-readiness program consists of children who are 3 1/-5 years old. Children who are this age desire to be valued as individuals; therefore, we teach them how to accept responsibility, listen to others, and problem solve.  We expose them to active learning strategies: they act out stories, use objects to help them verbalize their thoughts, and provide them with many hands-on opportunities. The classroom plan focuses on writing, math, science and social development. We make sure that all children receive the attention they need to confidently tackle these learning opportunities that will ultimately prepare them for the next step in their learning journey – Kindergarten
